The American Peanut Research and Education Society invites all peanut industry members who wish to present original peanut research/education/extension papers or posters at APRES’s 54th Annual Meeting to submit an abstract on-line by the deadline date: Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Papers are being accepted in the following categories:
- Breeding, Biotechnology, and Genetics
- Economics
- Entomology
- Extension Techniques and Technology
- Food Science (Processing, Utilization, Nutrition, and Allergy)
- Harvesting, Curing, Shelling, Storing, and Handling
- Mycotoxins
- Physiology and Seed Technology
- Plant Pathology and Nematology
- Production Technology
- Weed Science
- Other
Detailed submission instructions can be found at the links below, along with an example of a properly formatted abstract.
Awards are given for the Best Papers Presented at the 54th Annual Meeting. The Bailey Award for Best Overall Paper. Graduate students are encouraged to compete in the Joe Sugg Graduate Student Oral Presentation Competition (PhD and Masters Divisions) or National Peanut Board Poster Competition.

Notification Date
Authors of both oral presentations and posters will receive an official email by May 2nd with details on the day and time of your presentation at the 54th APRES Annual Meeting.
Abstract Corrections
Abstracts submitted before the March 31st deadline may be revised until May 31st. Please fill out a new submission form and attach your revised abstract. There is no limit to how many times you may edit your abstract. The published abstract will be the last submission received as of May 31st.
