Two experiments were conducted, one in the field and one in a growth chamber to determine the range of translocation of 14C labeled photosynthate among peanut genotypes. Single attached leaves of peanut genotypes, which differed in photosynthetic rates, were exposed to 14CO2 in the field and in a growth chamber.
